Introduction

gorbital is a 3D atomic orbital viewer written using gtkmm. It can view any atomic orbital in 3D. It makes use of a (very) simple 3D engine to display the orbitals and allows you to rotate and zoom in on them. It is a free, open-source program released under the terms of the GNU General Public License. The goals of this project are to create an open version of David Manthey's orbital viewer.

Development

The current development stage for gorbital is alpha. gorbital is stable but supports few features and options. Future development will be slow also (unless you want to become involved in the project...) as the author will be working on other projects.
